EMAJINARIUM Art can save our future

ART CAN SAVE OUR FUTURE

EMAJINARIUM is an amazing show created by Free Spirit Foundation, dedicated to protecting our planet.

RESILIENT EARTH ‘NEEDS OUR HELP’ TO REVERSE DAMAGE. We are rapidly reaching the point of no return for the planet. We face a triple environmental emergency — biodiversity loss, climate disruption and escalating pollution. For too long, humanity has cut down the Earth’s forests, polluted its rivers and oceans, and ploughed its grasslands into oblivion.

« Our mission is to use art to inspire people to change the world. We created EMAJINARIUM to bring attention on climate change and to take concrete actions to restore the nature. »

Fabrice Hossa – Founder & Director of Free Spirit Foundation

Art is our passion and creation is our core. Art is the most powerful tool we can use to spread humanity, to protect our planet and most threatened species and habitats. Art is a universal language that opens people’s hearts. We use art by combining several artistic disciplines in order to connect people on an emotional level with the beauty of our world.

Knowledge leads to action, action inspires change and change leads to positive impact. Through the EMAJINARIUM show and the EMAJINARIUM Concert for the planet, we can deliver our messages about global warming but we also raise funds to take concrete actions on the ground :

Our non-profit organization Free Spirit has created the programme RE-GREEN THE PLANET and aims to plant 5 million trees across the globe by 2030.

EMAJINARIUM The UN Decade on ecosystem restoration

EMAJINARIUM Concert for the planet is an official project of the UNITED NATIONS Decade on ecosystem restoration 2021-2030. The UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration is a rallying call for the protection and revival of ecosystems all around the world, for the benefit of people and nature. It aims to halt the degradation of ecosystems, and restore them to achieve global goals. Only with healthy ecosystems can we enhance people’s livelihoods, counteract climate change, and stop the collapse of biodiversity.

Our non profit organization Free Spirit is an official partner and an actor of the UN Decade on ecosystem restoration 2021-2030.

OUR GOAL

PLANTING 5 MILLION TREES IN KENYA BY 2030

As a partner an and actor of the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, Free Spirit has created the concert EMAJINARIUM to raise funds to plant 5 million trees in Kenya by 2030. ‘ Free Spirit ’ launches its program “re-green the planet”, a reforestation program all over the world. Inspired by the Kenyan Nobel Prized environmental activist’s work, Wangari Maathai, who planted 3 million trees during 30 years.

KENYA FACES DEVASTATING DROUGHT

Between 2008 and early 2010, Kenya, one of the countries of Eastern Africa, was affected by a severe drought. Owing to the lack of annual rainfall, the arid and semi-arid lands of Kenya (ASALs) are very susceptible to drought and flooding. These lands are impacted by the increasing effects of climate change and the risk of desertification.
